Experience
Training
Having completed my initial training, which qualified me to work with adults, I decided to undertake a further year of advanced study: Children and Young People (4-18 yrs) Level 6 Diploma.
Approach
Throughout my work for a domestic abuse charity in Canterbury, I have gained knowledge and training in working in a trauma informed way. This practice has deepened my innate empathy for young people and given me a good insight into the issues our young people have to navigate in the world of social media, which can be a scary place.
I have a good understanding of neurodiversity and feel very passionately that our young people should be respected as individuals and my work will be driven by the your individual needs and wishes.
I offer online consultations via Teams/Zoom and will offer face to face consultations form the Autumn
